Andy Downes - Managing Director

I studied at Liverpool Polytechnic many years ago and gained a BSc (Hons) degree is Sport and Exercise Science. Following on from that I continued my studies at Sheffield University where I completed a master’s degree in sport and exercise science.

In between my studies I found the time to play a season of Rugby in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand and play rugby for England at student level. After studies and travelling I worked for many years in the media industry, including the Daily Mail.

I really enjoy owning and running our health club here in Brackley, we have a great team of fitness professionals who share a common goal to help our members and clients maintain a healthy lifestyle and achieve their fitness goals.
